Who can you trust today? Everywhere you turn it seems that lies, unethical behavior and greed are the norm -- from Wall Street to the government, and even in personal relationships at home and work. But just how trustworthy are you? Can the people you love and with whom you work actually trust you? "We are in a global crisis, where far too many of us lack trust in our dealings with others," says Vannessa Hall, a business consultant and author of the new book, "The Truth About Trust in Business" (Greenleaf Book Group). This is more than a place to walk in the vineyard, being surrounded by beauty and nature. Beautiful Vineyards, tasting room, and gift shop are just some of the things there is at Sleepy Creek.
Lake Vermilion County Park consists of 1,000 acre Lake Vermilion. Power boating, water skiing, tubing, and jet skiing are the most popular activities of the summer months. However, Lake Vermilion offers some of the area's best large-mouth bass fishing. Anglers compete in club sponsored tournaments or open tournaments held each Thursday evening in the summer months. Waterfowl hunting is allowed in season. The monthly pontoon boat rides are reserved weeks in advance. These rides offer excellent opportunities to view the native wildlife and to tour the lake.
